Health Impact Assessment Survey Design, Data Collection, and Analysis:


Conduct data gathering, survey and intitial research stages of Health Impact Assessment of proposed ordinance revision seeking to amend farmland conservation programto better suit local direct-to-consumer growers in the county as well as urban agriculture through a PEW Charitable Trusts grant.



  • Data Collection and Survey design to survey stakeholders in food production business interested in direct to consumer and local food, as well as the opinions of the public and officials to gauge political climate.
  • GIS dataset creation of food environment including locating local growers, farmers’ markets, food pantries and soup kitchens, and farmland protection program farms.
  • Assist with technical aspects of conversion of Bentley CAD files to ArcGIS format of land use files for easier display, use, and interdepartmental sharing.
